Every year religiously the school organizes a number of activities to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary freedom fighter, eminent scholar and the first education minister of independent India, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on 11 November, 2014. The day started with a poem on the importance of literacy which gave way to the presentations by students as national and international educators. The stupendous performance by Atharva of class VI C left everybody speechless.
The primary wing of the school also echoed their commitment to education. Class I students prepared beautiful book marks on the topic ‘Sab padhe Sab badhe.’ Class II students put their efforts in making greeting cards reading ‘Each one Teach one.’ The poster making activity for class III brought many new artists in limelight. The topic ‘Education for All’ reflected their own learning and interpretations. Classes IV and V had drappy experience when they came dressed up as national educators. The Principal, Ms. Vipula Saxena asked all the children to take an extra initiative for removing illiteracy from our country.
